Jurors in the massive year-long Old Bailey trial, heard of plans to target a shopping centre, nightclub and the gas network with a fertiliser bomb. "Scooter" Libby is fighting to keep his grand jury testimony about the leak of a CIA operative's name from being released and broadcast in the media.

Jury selection was to begin Tuesday and attorneys for both sides want to ask potential jurors about their opinions of the Bush administration, political scandals and the Iraq war.
